This Year

Freshmen year has been a blast. I have met so many new people and I have bonded with older friends and learned a lot about them. Almost every class I had, I had a great time in. My lunch period has been great, it was 30 minutes of just hanging with friends. Most of the fun times I won't forget. The best memory from this year has been the food fight we had last monday. I wasn't involved, but it was kind of fun to watch. This year has been great but all great things have to come to a end at some point. I am looking forward to next year, just hoping that I will have a great year in class and hanging out with friends.

How does having a leader affect a persons life?

Having a leader affects a lot of things in a person's life. Just some of the many things that a leader affects in some body's life about something are Decisions, Pressure and some one's life style.

Having a leader affects decisions because a leader wants that person to make the decisions that he or she would make. So being the person that is following the leader they wont want to make the wrong decision because then they could be afraid that they are going to make that leader upset and they could be afraid of how the leader would react.

A reason why having a person that is in charge affects some one's life is because the person in charge could be pressuring the person into following them because they may say that they are going to kill the follower or could threaten to do something to a family member.

Having a leader will affect the lifestyle of the follower because the leader would be telling the person how or when to do something they could have them have a schedule that they need to follow and to not be a second late one.

Those are just some of the many ways that having a person in control could affect some one's life.

Power

What is power? Power is something that everyone wants to have. To have control or influence over someone or something. You get power by being liked by people. For example if you have enough followers or listeners then your going to have power over their decisions and choices they have to make. Another reason why being liked by people is going to give you power because if they see you doing something then there going to want to follow in your footsteps.

One other reason why you could get power is because people just may be scared of you and not want to et on your bad side because they could be afraid that your going to hurt them or hurt someone they love.

Some ways you may lose your power is if you taking advantage of too many people or you may take advantage of the situation. The people that are following you may get sick of being used or being controlled so the may stick together and try to take you out of your power. They may stop listening to you.

That is what power is and some ways you could get your power or how you could use your power.

Why are people spending so much time online?

I spend from the time I get home after school till the time I fall asleep, on the Internet. Most teenagers are like me; we spend a lot of time on the Internet. Some people think that the reason why people spend so much time online is because there is a lot to do but, I think the most important reason why people are spending so much time online is because they are bored and have nothing better to do.

Some people think that the main reason why people go online because there is a lot of different new things to find. They think people go online to find a new website to go on that they can mess around on. They may think that people go online because they want to check their Facebook and Myspace page and see what everyone else is posting online. I personally have a Facebook page so I see where people are coming from, that people go online to see what everyone else is posting; therefore, we go online to do a quick check on their page but, then it ends up that you've spent your whole day online talking to people. I know that I get on Facebook everyday to see what people are saying and to see which one of my friends are online, so I can talk to them about my day or what's on my mind.

I think that the main reason why people spend so much time online is because they are bored. People go online when they are bored because they want to go see who is online that they can talk to. When people get bored, they go online to find something better to do. Another reason why bored people go online is to find a fun game to play or to go watch a TV show or a movie online. They also can go online because there is nothing else to do and when there is nothing good on TV or there is nobody to go hang out with; therefore ,people just go online to find something new and exciting. I know that I always go online when I get bored and when there’s nothing that I want to watch on TV. Some people may go online to keep in touch with distance family members or friends so they send them an email. Those are some reasons why being bored is one of the main reason why people are spending so much time online.

Those are some reasons why teenagers like me spend so much time online. We can see the main reason why people spend so much time online is because that they are bored and why that people spend so much time isn’t because, there’s a lot to do isn’t the main reason why people spend so much time online.

Why do people not read books anymore?

People aren't reading books anymore because in this day and age people wait for the movies to come out. People are less likely to read because they can find instant information on the Internet. With technolgy consuming our daily lives; texting, Internet, Facebook, Myspace and other websites people make reading less of a priority. We also live in a society that is on the go, reading is a hobbie that requires us to sit down, relax and focus. Most people wont take the time to sit down and read because they would rather be doing soemthing more exciting. Those are just some reason why people in this society are not reading books anymore.

How did the Nile River help the Egyptians?

The Nile did a lot of things for the Egyptians to help them survive. As I learned in World Studies the Nile was a source of water for the crops and the Nile once a year would flood to water the crops. The Nile also allowed the Egyptians to make a paper like material from a plant that grew in the Nile. The Nile had silt that would wash up and the Egyptians would use the silt to help their crops grow. The Nile also helped divide up Egypt. Those are just some of the many things the Nile River did for the Egyptains.

Freshmen

I hope that the information that i gave you will help you through you freshmen year of high school. I know that what I have been told from others that are now Sophomores, It has helped me make it so far though the year. I also learned that it helps if you know some Sophomores to help you and give you advice on what to do and what not to do. Also if you know some Sophomores they can help you get around if your lost or if you need help on you homework.
